Branded documentary films for companies that understand real stories achieve what advertising can’t.

stories that move people

[ the problem ]

Made to be remembered.

Every product exists for a reason: to serve people. But advertisements don’t tend to capture that.

Advertisements are scripted, safe, and designed to be approved. They get attention, but they don't always resonate, often underperform. Too focused on the product, they miss what really matters: what a product can make possible.

Branded documentary films work differently. Interested in real people, real stakes, real impacts. The kind of video that earns organic reach, shortens sales cycles, and shows your audience why what you do matters.

91% of businesses use video marketing and get less than 1/4th report meaningful return. The gap isn’t budget or production value. It’s whether your audience can understand the impact of what you do.

[ our solution ]

We uncover why our work matters.

There's a difference between telling people to care about your product versus showing them why they should.

Advertisements are consumed. Branded documentaries are remembered. The difference is story. Not the one you manufacture, but the one that already exists within your brand: your people, your purpose, your power.

We work with in-house marketing teams and agencies to find the human stakes, listen to the overlooked voices, and tell the stories that can be the hardest, yet most important to tell.

We create the space for the truth to come out. We learn about your customer and competition to bring to the surface what makes you different.

All you need to give us is a goal. We handle the rest.

Most projects wrap in 6-10 weeks. No surprises, no scope creep, just story.

[ our process ]

[ industries we serve ]

The story is the strategy. The industry is the context.

We specialize in stories, not industry.

There are human stories hidden within organizations. The ones that explain why a company exists, who it serves, and why other people should care.

Over the past five years, these stories has taken us inside biotech labs, onto construction sites, in boardrooms, and and to customers whose lives were changed by a company.

Wherever the real story lies, that's where we go. Because we know that’s what will impact other people.

Construction

Architects envision what could exist. Builders make it real. Engineers bridge the distance between an idea and its realization. We make films that help architecture, construction, and engineering firms turn workforce culture, project impact, and company legacy into content that recruits, retains, and wins bids.

Biotech & Life Sciences

Breakthrough science means nothing if your audience has a hard time understanding it. We make documentary films for biotech and healthcare brands that translate complex science into real world impacts for patients, investors, and the teams doing the work.

Customer Stories

Your most satisfied customer is your best salesperson. Your value isn't measured by what you say about yourself. It's what the people you serve say about you. We tell those stories. Real customers. Real experiences. Real impact. Your prospects will see the impact you've had and think: "That's a company I want to support."

Investor Relations

Spreadsheets explain performance. Stories inspire belief. Your pitch deck can communicate the numbers. But, a documentary can communicate the conviction behind them. We produce documentary-style investor relations films that help stakeholders, boards, and capital partners understand not just what your company does, but why it matters—and why it's worth believing in.

[ about ]

Five people wearing sunglasses pose against a red background with a large green inflatable alien.

Built on the belief that real stories outlast every ad ever made.

“Real stories make real impact.” Our founding principle hasn’t change since our founding in January 2020.

Our team comes from action sports, journalism, and national marketing agency campaigns. We’ve worked with brands investing eight figures in marketing, and brands just getting started. Our approach is always the same: the curiosity and integrity of journalism paired with the production expertise of a major agency.

We don’t arrive with a predetermined narrative or script; We show up with the right questions. Because that’s how great documentaries are made and how authentic stories are uncovered. We’re interested in the story that’s there.

Based in Durham, NC but able to film nationwide, we’ve spent the last six years proving the most effective thing a brand can do is stop trying to control the narrative and start trusting the people inside it. The stories are already there, most brands just haven’t found them yet.
